BlueBioTech GmbH has long years of experience in the production of various marine and aquatic micro algae. We utilize closed systems, which allow for economic cultivation with very high cell density. For each individual type of algae, a combination of nutrients, scale-up technology and flux density methods as well as worldwide unique measuring techniques on a cell physiological level and electronic steering, have achieved repetitious accuracy in fermentation.

Separation, cleansing and drying are also tuned to the individual type of algae. Only through the observance of all these factors, enabling compliance of customer specific quality demands, which are the basic requirements for standardized, successful implementation of micro algae in various fields of application.

Our departments for research and development are outfitted with an internationally established cooperation of researchers, scientists, people of the health profession and other partners, crucially required to handle the various micro algae specific strategic questions. Production, quality assurance and stability monitoring are carried out at our development location in Büsum at the North Sea. We have a laboratory for research, product development and production of micro algae. BlueBioTech actively strives for collaborations with enterprises, which supply dietary supplements, feed additives and aquaculture feed to the ultimate consumer. In addition, we search for cooperation with industrial partners to develop and produce further micro algae and/or extracts e.g. as active pharmaceutical agents.
